Painting by Sara Captain. A portrait of David Bowie at teh Amstel Hotel in Amsterdam in 1974 - he is in character as Halloween Jack, sporting an eypatch and a green hat - a Cordoba style sombrero. It's the Diamond Dogs period and he stull has the Ziggy stardust haircut. The portrait is in bright, soft complementary colours, painted in gouache and watercolour on board.
